1Welcome back to Delta Force: Task Force Dagger, a military simulation, tactical shooter created by Novalogic in 2002. The game was originally meant to serve as a Standalone expansion to its predecessor, Delta Force: Land Warrior. It boasts a wide variety of weaponry and selection of character classes from various specialised military forces from around the world, all with their own unique traits and abilities. The game follows the team in question, a joint task force called Viper 33, that works to disassemble terrorist and extremist militia units across various parts of the world. The game, in contrast to older titles such as the original Delta Force, is more action-oriented and accessible, being made on the same engine as Land Warrior, even though it boasts greater design and rendering technology at the cost of simplified gameplay.
With the intelligence granted to them by way of their previous raid, Dagger has been made aware of the presence of a SAM site in the area.
Viper 33 has been deployed to demolish all the Surface to Air Missile Launchers in the region and then proceeding to eliminate all hostiles in the area.
The plan is two-fold. Viper 33 is to infiltrate via Black Widow and proceed to the SAM sites on foot. Once there, he is to use his SLAM packs to demolish the launchers. Once that is done, he is to head within buildings and structures, including underground bunkers and eliminate all enemy resistance therin. Once that is done, he is cleared for extraction.
During the mission, Viper 33 ran out of ammunition to demolish the SAM Launchers and had to use the enemy armoury to resupply and return to their original objective of demolishing the SAMs.
