So when I decided to go record some Rhythm Doctor videos to put into a playlist, I found out that it's currently impossible to mute the SFX when the characters are speaking without also muting all the other "extra SFX" like the nurse saying "S+! Good job." So I found that kinda annoying, and decided to do it another time.
Ever since, uh, a really long time ago, I always wanted to no-hit Jevil, from Deltarune Chapter 1. So after I no-hit Spamton NEO on the Snow Mercy route, I decided to do just that, since I didn't really have anything else better to do.
Likewise, I practiced the Jevil fight over the years and so I've gotten somewhat good at it, although I kinda wanted to spice up my run a bit. In addition to showing all the dialogue, I also used Pirouette instead of Hypnosis a few times throughout the video. My aim was to use Pirouette such that Kris, Susie, and Ralsei will all swap HP bars because I knew it did that sometimes. It made the run look a lot more interesting, and also a bit surprising because it turns out if you do a mix of Pirouette and Hypnosis, you can pacify Jevil before he uses his Final Chaos, as opposed to using only Hypnosis.
Oh yeah, here's a funny story: When I pacified Jevil, I didn't know that it would automatically return all the HP bars back to their respective party members, so when I looked at Susie's health bar, it said 70/110, because I had previously swapped Susie's health bar with Ralsei's back when I used Pirouette. So I actually thought that I had taken damage on the Final Chaos, prompting me to get very annoyed and delete the video, before I realized, "Oh shit. I shouldn't have done that." So apparently this is the second time I've done Jevil no-hit?
Hopefully, I can get a Celeste video up soon, I currently have my eyes on Heart of the Storm's "A Nice View"...
