Whether this is actually the hardest boss or not, I dunno. I think I actually found Jevil a bit more difficult to perfect. Either way this fight is still pretty up there.

Equipment: Kris (Saber10, TwinRibbon, TensionBow), Susie (ToxicAxe, SpikeBand, Jevilstail), Ralsei (PuppetScarf, Lodestone, Lodestone)

TwinRibbon for grazing, TensionBow and Lodestones to offset the reduced TP gain effect that was added in this chapter as a stealth nerf to the ribbon. Prioritises DPS for Susie by pumping her attack and magic high for strong Rude Busters, and PuppetScarf to help Ralsei do a bit more chip damage.

This fight mostly boils down to three attacks: The second star storm (1:42), and the two sword lane attacks. The sword lanes are kinda infamous already I think, so that kinda speaks for itself. Very fast reading and tight movements required. The final sword stabs at the end of the lanes are also kinda garbage, the swords are much larger than the warning lines so you can easily get clipped if you're not smack in the middle of a large gap and sometimes the gap layouts are really awkward.

Second star storm feels a bit underrated, it did get me quite a fair bit. The star hitboxes are very small, but depending on RNG they can cluster up and force you into a nasty squeeze. There's also sometimes very little space to dodge the follow-up explosion and remaining bullet fragments.

Ideally you can deal enough damage to skip the second sword lane which is possible with this equipment build, but the damage requirements are very tight. You need to constantly be hitting good Rude Buster action command timings and nail almost all of Ralsei's attacks perfectly. Might be easier and more lax if you've done a bit of violence to build your stats though, but I did this on a save with no stat increases.

You also need to have enough TP to pull off a Rude Buster every single turn, which is what the TensionMax at the start of the battle is for. With TensionMax + TwinRibbon + TensionBow + Lodestones this is usually not a huge problem, and you can defend with Kris to make up the difference if you fall behind a bit since Kris' damage is quite low in this fight anyway. On this attempt I played it too safe and fell behind too much though, therefore missing a turn of Rude Buster.

I've seen people recommending Devilsknife to reduce Rude Buster's cost to 40% TP, but Devilsknife is weaker than ToxicAxe stat-wise. Ideally you won't need the reduction but it might be viable if you're really struggling with TP. Even if you don't manage to skip the second sword lane, you should at least be able to consistently trigger the scripted final 3 turns immediately after it.

The final attack is not that bad but can meme you. I swear the hitboxes on those star bullets relative to their sprite's size are actually a lot bigger on the final attack than the previous star storm attacks.
