After playing a couple rounds of multiplayer I think I am switching my opinion to a thumbs down until there are more adventure modules. Right now there is 1 adventure. So there's about 2 hours of content and then the game expects you to repeat that 45 times to unlock all the cosmetic unlocks in a battle pass like progression system. I'm not going to grind out the same exact adventure for 90 hours just for some cosmetics. I struggle to be content spending $30 for just one adventure. Once more adventures are added with more bosses and more enemy variations $30 will be more than reasonable. Until then, the price is just too high for what's available atm.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. DnD can get very overwhelming with its rules and math. Keeping the game simple makes it very easy to pick up and get into and IMO emphasizes the social aspect of the game more than the technical bits.
This does mean that hardcore tabletop gamers might feel the game is a little shallow. The game does a good job at throwing wave after wave of enemies and never really giving you a second to breath. This does kinda feel like a bandaid for depth but it works out allright.
There are definitely some quality of life improvements to be had. Selecting characters wasn't always as responsive as I would have liked
I'm not a fan of that opening movie starting as soon as the game starts. Not everyone has their headset on and ready to go as soon as the game starts. Also that audio volume was sooo loud at the start. Give me a chance to address those things before bombarding me with a 5 minute story time...
Overall those are minor issues that can be addressed easily enough. I'm definitely looking forward to getting some MP time in with the game.
This will be a thumbs up from me as it delivers exactly what it promises with very few flaws. Will definitely see this streamed in the future.
