This game runs perfectly fine and for being a project of only 2 people, isn't all that terrible of a game. The problem is not the underlying engine, or even the story (which is good enough for an FPS and gets credit for being semi-original) -- it is the game design itself. Repetitive textures, uninspired map design, boring enemies and weapons, and a soundtrack that is completely out-of-place in a first person shooter hinders what could have been a serviceable FPS game of the time.

If you are looking for an early 90s FPS, pick up Wolfenstein 3D, Spear of Destiny, any of the Catacomb 3D games, Nitemare 3D, Blake Stone, or any other of a number of titles that have more personality than this one. It's playable, but just being playable is not enough to warrant a recommendation -- even to hardcore fans of this genre.
