This level is VERY HARD on cold start.

In this run I was just very lucky, and things worked out very nicely. The first 3 minutes is the hardest part of the level.

If those spiders rush forward you are dead.
If they release too many spawns you'll run out of energy trying to hit those little quick motherfuckers, and you end up in a stalemate.

The rocket barrage are lethal, as the spiders sometimes keep firing for some time after you left the area.

Try to use door as your shield. (stay in the door so it closes right after you backpedal)

The sniper NG-s must be lured by missile, they are chanceless to fight against just with lasers. If you are lucky you can catch them on the blind side as they storm trough the door, sometimes they can open it without making the door open sound!

Quite often they have time to turn and then there is no escape from their anger, an encounter costs 40-50 shields...

I suggest sticking to the wall, to maximize the angle they need to turn.

I was exceptionally lucky, usually 10-20 attempts needed just to get this far. One spider has fled, the other didn't released spawns, and I was able to destroy both sniper ng-s without taking too much damage from them.

Then you'll need to get a plasma gun from that plasma mech. First I damage it from distance, then lure it to come closer to let it drop the gun in a safe place. Then go for the third sniper ng, which apparent doesn't have the usual hit and run behavior. Luring doesn't work well.

The ice spindle robot is easy to destroy. They often drop a helix cannon.

Down there, there is a diamond claw and a max. The max the safest to hit from distance from the side tunnel. Once you released your volley of plasma blobs go the other side for the next turn, so you can release the next volley while the max is turning.

The diamond claw often rushes out to the large room, this time it didn't do that. After that you got a gauss cannon and your chances improve a lot, but use it wisely because you won't find much ammo for it in this level.

From here most of the level can be memorized.

In the blue area 3 sniper ng-s camping there and they are quite though to beat without taking too much damage.

The rest of the level isn't too hard and shields are quite abundant.
