Welcome everybody! To Let's Play Homeworld Deserts of Kharak! Part 16 Mission 10 on Classic difficulty, Khashar Approach. After dealing with the K’had Saajuk Honour Guard in the last episode, it is time to secure a safe place for coalition landers to deliver supplies to us and yes even on this map on classic difficulty the Gaalsien spawns units outside of the map. So do not send Your resources collectors without backup. I have send two squads on two dif-ferent sides of the Khashar Approach. All of the honour guard units I have acquired from the last mission are going along with battle cruiser backup and two support units to the west. That’s more then enough to deal with all the opposition from that side, even on Classic. Khashar Approach will be a true test field for those. Rest of the fleet will go east Kapisi a tanking unit, combo Kapisi Sensor array along with the Artillery units will work wonders in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak. After securing the area send the savages units, in total in Khashar Approach are 5, yes 5 wrecks to salvage! Even on Classic by now You should have a lot of resources for more fun in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak. Soo enjoy collecting all those juicy resources. I have a feeling You will need those in the final mission of Homeworld De-serts of Kharak. However keep in mind that Gaalsien Towers have a come back in Khashar Approach along with the Control Towers, we can deal with those in two ways in Khashar Approach, this works on Classic if You wonder. First the same way we did last time in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak by using Rachel EMP Attack – also now other units have ac-cess to this powerful weapon, two in total the support cruiser and the Artillery unit. We can also send the Kapisi behind a rock formation which are lots of those in Khashar Approach and use the said Artillery units or out range the towers with railguns and Honour Guard units. Slowly but steady push the front line to the plateau of Khashar, the Gaalsien will send some off-map air units – I kinda wonder where do they land after missions in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak if there is no carrier around ? But Anyway keep a few missile units or support units with Anti-Air upgrades around just in case as they will send bombers to attack Your most heavy unit in this case it would be the Honour Guard and I don’t think there will be much of a occasion to acquire more of them in future missions in Homeworld Deserts of Kharak even on classic.
