Welcome everybody! To Let's Play The Solus Project part 2! I did a first impression in the last episode so now its time to actually play this game! So we stay on hard difficulty in The Solus Project but this time I want to Searching the first Island in order to find supply and artefacts. Island is not that big, problem is with water. Water actually is a form of blocking the player advancement, search around for successful stuff check every corner, every little cave. You may never know what You may find on this little island. I do wonder I have to make like an actual base in The Solus Project ? Or just keep moving forward, but without a base on hard mode ? Well the game does not tell and I haven’t seen any guide to build yet on first island. Anyway there is a big cave with a glow stick inside, with access to it blocked I need to look for some tools around or find another way in. Maybe there is actual other cave entrance on the other side of this island ? Anyway I think the food in The Solus Project regrow every day, even on hard difficulty, at last for now I keep finding food, water is no problem since I have a infinite supply of it in the first cave. I haven’t made any weapon and I haven’t found a flashlight yet. I love how the nature is show in The Solus Project on the first island. Everything matters here, time of day tells how the waves will respond. closer to midnight the water goes back and I can look in to the beach better but then on the other hand I can freeze to death. If You get too wet then You need to look for a heat source to actually dry Yourself otherwise temperature will drop like a rock! Its hard to say is it because of the hard difficulty or is it how the game should be. Point is on the first island there is only one heat source! Unless You make a little camp fire here then yeah You can try to warm there. But the space engage is way more powerful, even tho it take ages to dry next to it! And You can get really wet fast from this water. It reminds me a bit of Don’t starve. Soo far I found a new affects on the first island. First Artefact was located next to the big cave entrance, other if You go left from Your shelter cave and stick to the left side of rock formation at the beach. Other is behind the big cave further on the beach. There is a little cave with webs inside, Inside there are two artefacts. One in the first room and then You need to crouch in to a hole to find another. Easy to find. I didn’t found anything else on the first Island and I have this stupid feeling that The Solus Project is time based and I need to start act fast even on hard. Also ignore the derby falling down on the first island. There is nothing on them. I tried to loot them but there is nothing inside just so You know.
