This is a play-through using Relics (type 2) in the PS1 game Destrega. Read on below for more information...

The Relics characters are the "cannon-fodder" soldiers who only appear in the game's Story mode as CPU opponents. They are unplayable characters.

Relic 2's projectile moves and patterns seem to be completely unique, which makes him a completely unique character to control. After you complete 1P Battle mode with him, the game goes to a fight statistics screen (this is normal), but the character uses Gradd's portrait image on the screen.

===== About Relics (type 2) =====
He is basically a high-ranking generic soldier in armor design. He is the stronger of the two Relics type characters. Compared to the regular characters, his moves and spells are somewhat weak but this is to be expected for a character like this.

In his winning pose, it is slightly flawed in a way where at the start of it, he begins a kick and then immediately goes back into a stance. This is because he is not meant to appear in a winning motion. The winning motion is actually a flawed version of Gradd's winning motion, meaning that the Relics 2 character may be created using Gradd as the base.

===== About Destrega =====
The game involves the player being able to run/roam around the arena, casting long-range spells/projectiles in order to defeat the opposition. There are many combinations of spell moves you can use, and you can also use them while jumping. Close-range fighting is more of a combo system, where it seems to be dependent who on gets to land the first hit.

If I were to describe the gameplay of Destrega, I would probably call it Psychic Force on the ground.

I think this is one of those games where the producers (Omega Force) tried to build a franchise from, because it's clear that they put a lot of effort into the storyline and character design. The game does feature a good singular story mode with voice-acting and cut-scenes using the in-fight models, but it is rather short.
