ou take 20 stock cars and put them in a arena, all pointed towards the middle of the arena. What will happen....

Destruction Derby is the answer. The last car standing will win the arena battle. This part of the game is the first thing you will be drawn to and enjoy. The thing is that this will will be less entertaining each time you will play it. So you'll look at what more this game has to offer. And then you will discover that the racing is the better part of this game. There are two types of races; 'normal' stock car racing and destruction racing. Both are mostly the same, but in destruction racing you'll get points for destroying your opponents. The thing is that the normal racing is the most fun, because here you get a lot of destroyed cars, but without having to watch the points you get.

The racing itself isn't as easy as you might expect, but after getting some used to it you will get the hang of it. There are a number of different tracks on which you'll have to compete to be the number one in your division.

The graphics of the game are ok, the best thing about them is the destruction of the cars. You will see parts flying of and when totally destroyed the flames will come out of the engine. The sounds do their job, nothing special and the music suits the type of racer it is.

Destruction Derby is fun while it lasts, you can finish it well within 10 hours. The total playing time will depend on your need to destroy cars. A game recommended for those in search of 'just plain fun'.
