Hey guys,

Today I've got a FFA with the FAL. Hope you enjoy! =]

Here's a mathematical breakdown of the FAL with/without the holographic sight:

The following math applies to shots anywhere but the head.

First of all, let it be stated that Stopping Power increases Bullet Damage by 40% (1.40)

Let it also be stated that a players health is a value of 100, unless Painkiller is active.

Now, the FAL's damage is 55 at close range, and 35 at long range (55 - 35). To score a kill on a player with full health, we multiply a value until it is Greater Than or Equal To 100. The number we multiply the value by is the amount of bullets it will take to score a kill. So in this case, 2 shots while up close (55 x 2 = 110), and 3 while far away (35 x 3 = 105).

Now if we apply Stopping Power (Multiply values by 1.40) it's power becomes 77 - 49. Therefore, it still takes 2 shots up close (77 x 2 = 154) and 3 from a distance(49 x 3 = 147). This means that stopping power has no effect....

UNLESS

If the holographic sight is equipped, the damage at long range is increased by 5, making the guns damage 55 - 40. So with the Holo sight, but without stopping power, we still must score 2 shots close up (55 x 2 = 110), and 3 shots far away (40 x 3 = 120).

But now combine Stopping Power with the Holographic Sight. 55 - 40 multiplied by 1.40 brings us to 77 - 56. Therefore, using this combination, 2 shots will score a kill at any distance (77 x 2 = 154)(56 x 2 = 112).

This also means that a silencer will not have any negative effect.

So let's summarize in this format: [Weapon w/ Attachments/Perks] - Shots required close/Shots required far.
FAL - 2 shots/3 shots for a kill.
FAL w/ Stopping Power - 2 shots/3 shots for a kill.
FAL w/ Holo - 2 shots/3 shots for a kill.
FAL w/ Holo & Stopping Power - 2 shots for a kill.
FAL w/ Holo/Silencer & Stopping Power - 2 shots for a kill.
