Wave 1: Argent Officiant x2 (completed on turn 38)
Wave 2: Marilith Gloria x2 (completed on turn 68)
Wave 3: Osteoaveis (completed on turn 96)
Wave 4: Sahagin Shaman (completed on turn 151)
Score: 836k (10,838 HP damage, 8 breaks)
Notes on the team:
Although this team comp can do the job, it will take some countless reset and requires good pacing on the use of the skills. The dangerous waves are the first 2 waves and the last wave with the 3rd wave giving you some breathing space to heal before you fight the Sahagin.
Zack needs to engage lock at all times. Avoid in chain slash on the first turn as the Argent Officiants will cleanse the debuffs. Use it after they have leviathe.
Alphianud is the true MVP for the battle for his absurd longevity. There is a lot of moments where I have to use his White Carbuncle stance for defensive purposes. Use his HP+ (Obsidian) when the bosses are not targeting All and for the free skill use follow up. His Poison aura and Poison debuff are very useful in keeping boss BRV in check.
Keiss will need to spread out his skills. I feel I have spam too much of his skills in the first wave and should have spaced them out so I have more uses for the next 3 waves. I have to waste a Hero Support to ensure that Zack clear the wave with max HP for the final wave.
Tips for wave by wave
Wave 1: Argent Officiant x2
They will clean the debuffs on their first turn. So don't bother to apply any debuff. Use it after they have risen. Fortunately, they don't have that insane DMG mitigation buff, unlike the ones that you face at Agrias LC. After they have risen, they will use Assault Lance (if you have shaved their BRV enough) before they will use Globated Crush (BRV Gain HP) on their next turn. While they are grounded, watch out for Flare Star and Spear Arts. Try to kill them both at the same or when they are in the air because if you kill one of them first while the other one is ground, the other will cleanse debuffs and leviathe. Zack will negate most of the harm here as long as he has BRV barrier up. With the help of Alphinaud's Poison aura (and Poison), you should be able to keep them in check.
Wave 2: Marilith Gloria x2
The boss has 2 HP attacks to watch out for - its recast ability Khakkhara of Effacement (AOE BRV+HP) and its Abyss Whirl. Avoid BRV breaks from its Pouring Rods (Group BRV), Absolute Chaos (gains high turn rate upon breaking), and Advent of Trials. Killing them fast is important here. Unlike the previous runs, I don't have the luxury of a debuff immunity unit. So I have to survive through the Life Hex debuff (HP poison). Zack should lock the boss while Keiss uses his skills prudently. I have him use a Hero Support to prevent breaks. I have Alphinaud switch to his White Carbuncle stance when their recast ability is up.
Wave 3: Osteoaveis
Probably the easiest wave among the 4. The boss deal with HP damage when its recast gauge is up. Avoid BRV breaks and Aphmau should be able to heal up the party to full health for the final wave. You will probably need to go through 2 to 3 n-balls. I have to waste 1 Hero Support in order to ensure that Zack enters the final wave at full HP.
Wave 4: Sahagin Shaman x2
Skill status: Zack has 2x S1, 2x S2, and 2x AA. Keiss has 3x S1, 1x S2, 2x AA. Alphinaud has 2 S1 and 5 S2.
One of the thorns in the flesh of the early CHAOS era from Fang LC. The Sahagin will start off with one using AOE BRV while the other buffs the party. They get strong depends on the number of buffs they have. Upkeep as much as debuffs as possible as you can for the fight. Erdgeist's Power (recast ability) is a thing that you need to watch out for. As long as you are able to keep the quota of 3 debuffs up (Alphianud has 2 debuffs from his HP+ Obsidian and Zack's Lock), you will avoid the + variant of the Sahagin's ability. It took me 3 resets before I finally did it with this team though.
