Wave 1: Chimera Nova x2 (completed on turn 58)
Wave 2: Ankh Beast x2 (completed on turn 109)
Score: 511k
Wave 1: Chimera Nova
- Buffs themselves at 80% (Brawny Roar), 50% (Heaven's Cry) and 25% (Aegis Roar) - gains ATK, DEF and SPD Up 5 turns buffs (all framed). They does not enrage when one is dead.
- Has 3 faces - Bear, Eagle, Cobra. It shifts its elemental weakness based on the faces.
- 2 Key attacks to watch out for: Heavy Combo - ST BRV+HP (removes non-framed buffs), gains 5T DEF Up and 5T BRV regen (framed). Trinity Hurricane (BRV Gain, ALL BRV+HP) is often executed used when HP is low (more often after Aegis Roar is used).
- After using Brawn Roar, the boss will use 2 skills in action. After using Heaven's Cry, it will use 3 skills in action. Avoid BRV breaks is a challenge as they hit hard unless the unit have BRV hit resistance (Zack/ Snow excels for their BRV barrier)
This is actually the real boss fight for the battle. Thus don't be surprised if you use most of your abilities here. The Chimera can hit pretty hard and fast and do avoid AOE BRV breaks because they will most like use Heavy Combo if they have sufficient BRV on their followed up attacks. If you have a dispeller, try to save your dispel skills at the specific HP thresholds so that they won't hit hard. Units with BRV refund works well to minimize BRV breaks (Ramza, Lenna, Rosa etc) or mitigate BRV hits (Zack, Snow) so that you won't encounter problems of 30k~40k+ BRV to shave.
Wave 2: Ankh Beast
- At the start of the battle, they will buff themselves with Monarach Disposition (5T Daunt, ATK, DEF, SPD framed buffs) and use Rise witha round 10k BRV each. (You can skip this phase if you are in the summoning phase entering this wave so u can set your framed debuffs before they do that). With 4 buffs slots taken, units that relies on debuffs will be hampered.
- They gain auras at 80% and 50% HP threshold. The suriving one don't enrage if you killed the other one first.
- The beasts has 2 modes - Airborne and Grounded. In Airborne, they use Great Mazer (guaranteed hit, gain SPD Up framed buff), Raining Sky (AOE BRV, 8T ATK, DEF, SPD) and Noble Wing (AOE BRV, low chance of Paralyze, uses after 50% threshold). In ground, they can use Grand Mash (ST BRV+DEF, SPD Down) and followed up with Awful stream (ST BRV Gain, BRV+HP)
- In both modes they can execute HP attack (Onslaught), when their BRV is a certain limit. Onslaught is HP, BRV+HP which is anti-Last Stand if the unit's HP is near to below 50% HP. So keeping them broken is essential.
With the buffs and the auras, they can become dangerous if you don't dispel them off. You will see your units doing 1s if they don't have sufficient battery or auras to damage them. Entering this wave during the summon phase avoid giving them the good headstart from their initial phase buffs. They are not as tanky as the Chimeras. If you managed your skills well. this shouldn't pose much a problem.
