This run took quite a few tries before I managed to get this clear.

General flow of the fight is to set up Porom’s LD and WoL LD call before the first attack, then set up base Gabranth and Kurasame call and Setzer LD to start maximizing damage output.

The main goal is to burn through the first 50% of the bosses HP before it gets its recast bar full, take the second recast, and then swap out Tifa for Raines before the orb pops. To do this I had to get much more aggressive then I was used to, burning through 3 of Setzer’s LD before I even brought out Raines and using summon to stall the boss before it could get its 3rd turn after the first recast.

Once Raines friend is in, I used the last Setzer LD on him to maximize his damage output and went full rush down mode. I always brought Porom forward before Setzer for her batteries, and started using her C65 to push out a little bit of extra damage where I could.

Once Raines is spent, the goal is to get Tifa back as soon as possible to get her EX off, so I can push the orb up. Then it’s spam her Battle Cry’s and squeeze out the last bit of damage needed
