I have now gained a new respect for Yuri & Chelinka. I'm adding their game to my bucket list.

This battle consist of probably the most mechanics I've faced in a Shinryu mission since it's conception. At certain HP thresholds, the centipede boss will automatically use Wallop+. A move that will remove all the buffs and debuffs at play. Sounds bad enough, if it wasn't for the fact that the moth enemy has HP thresholds of their own. At 89, 49, and 19% of health, the boss will trigger it's blue aura effect. They gain a 500k Brv shield, and a massive defense boost. It's your job to break that shield and inflict actual Brv damage to the moth WHILE it is hit with a weapon attack it is weak to (which can only be done by inflicting an imperil debuff on it).
If you fail to deal that kind of damage to the moth once it loses less than 10% of it's HP from the threshold amounts, it will automatically dispel all buffs & debuffs on the playfield, and it will become immortal once it reaches the next threshold. Only then will it allow you to break the blue aura with the same method as before.
Did I mention their FR Weakness? The only way to negate their FR phase is to use an FR with an innate Ice element attached to it. Sadly, only two characters have that specific FR type. Kurasame, and Cater.

As you can tell, this is a very mentally taxing battle, and unless you have the recommended best units, you're gonna have a hard time with it. I unfortunately do not have Kurasame's FR. And while Cater is on the current banner, I'm not gonna be pulling for her. I don't even have Setzer's FR or BT, which is recommended for a no-Ice FR run.
It's difficult, but not impossible.
Yuri's BT effect was pivotal for this battle to work. So long as his BT effect is up, every attack from the enemy baring a few will always miss (100% Blind babeeeey). Unfortunately, even with 5 FR Echo characters, our DPS and the HP Thresholds from the Moth were still not enough to finish the battle. The enemies FR will proc... So, we utilize the very handy mechanic of BT+

Our strategy is as followed-
1. Activate everyone's BT at the start, except for Yuri. Get Setzer's Fixed Dice buff onto both Fujin & Yuri. Allowing them to do max Brv damage.
2. Activate Yuri's BT Phase. Use as many skills as possible to increase the FR gauge.
3. Bring out Sherlotta to charge our FR. One or two uses of her S1 should be enough, then bring out Fujin and use her FR. If the enemies activated their FR first, restart.
4. Spam FR Echos with Fujin & Yuri to break the moth's 89% shield. Then once it's down, quickly use a call that inflicts weakness damage and a weakness debuff to remove the blue aura.
It's recommended to get the Centipede down to 89% as well, so Wallop+ does not conflict with your weakness debuff. Also keep Yuri out whenever the enemy is ready to attack. DO NOT TANK WALLOP+.
5. Keep hitting the enemies for massive damage. Use your FR echos with the other characters, BUT SAVE AT LEAST ONE. If the moth ends up at 79% HP before you could remove their shield, then i recommend resetting. Don't worry about the 49%-39% threshold. Just tank the debuff removal, and then bring out Sherlotta for her BT's Brv gain effect ro maximize Fujin & Yuri's damage.
6. Kill the Centipede with a combination of your hardest hitting moves, and Fujin's launch effect. Then from here, either quickly remove the blue aura effect from the moth, or just let your FR run out.
7. The moth should activate their FR, but because the centipede is dead, there will be no big FR activation attack. Unfortunately, the moth will now heal for 100% damage you inflict to it with the FR activated. This is where Yuri's BT+ comes into play. Evade all of the moths attacks. I reccomend charging with Sherlotta during this time as well.
8. Once the enemies FR has run out, bring in your last FR unit and finish the battle. This is where you should also activate your summon.

Sooooo, while Yuri did do most of the work... I still got to use Jihl at the end! Could I have brought anyone else? Absolutely! But this is the Jihl Saga! So I consider this a victory ^^

I've been getting back into Dissidia after a long hiatus. And I had returned just in time to pull for one of my favorite super bosses, Jihl Nabaat from FF13. Unlike Lulu during the early Shinryu era, Jihl is actually very stacked with her mixed healing DPS kit. So, I figured I'd do my own Saga series using only Jihl for as long as I can. Let's see how far I can take her into the game's life!
