[DFFOO JP][Papalymo Raid Lufenia+]A more brain dead run w Papalymo, Selphie and Y'shtola (ini clear)
Uploading this just because this has Selphie to go with Papalymo and I kind of recommended that combo.
Basically this run is practically brain dead for the most part because you can ignore the manikin's existence when Selphie LD AoE delays by two turns. With launch, mid-launch battery, and post-launch battery refund + Papalymo's DPS, the DPS is high enough to push the boss to resummon the add by the team their turn is approaching. That it turn reassigned a new turn slot for the "new" manikin. So they would never get a turn to give damage reduction buffs for the boss and you can nuke Bahamut all the way to the end.
Role of Selphie here:
Selphie adds even more BRV gain up for Y'shtola and Papalymo, so this run did not require as much DEF down and BRV dmg up as opposed to my XIV run. Most of them, with so much battery coming in on top of that BRV gain up, can cap HP damage without looking at the BRV dmg at all.
Selphie has a lot of instant turn rate moves so turn hogging for Papalymo's Enochian stack is one way of helping him get more polyglots. On top of that Aura comes up very often and that speeds up Papalymo's EX recharge. So again more polyglots. More polyglots = more turn hogging for Papalymo, means more polyglot and more damage.
Also, Selphie's launch with Y'shtola BT is really nice. Since the debuff does not go away and Y'shtola repeatedly batteries the whole party with Aero II, Bahamut would just keep getting launched with full HP damage dumps. Then more battery refund for the next dump, forming a really nice cycle.
Again all 3 of them turn hog and have ways to do heavy damage. So the orb was never a problem. The fight itself is not hard at all. It is just fun to theorize and see who works well together. Didn't even need any recent units and the summon button. (Well except for Papalymo since he is the "test subject")
For enjoyment purposes, better refer to the XIV one. (shameless self referral)
To my surprise though, the XIV one that I procrastinated and actively thought about actually clocked in 1 minute less than this brainless one. It could be because of an initial clear mentality or it is simply faster to bring 2 DPS instead of 1 DPS with launch.
