Diablo 2 Resurrected is a remastered version of original Diablo 2 released 20 years ago.
Base game is unchanged only graphics and audio is lifted to the new modern standards. This changes requires now much more computing power to run Diablo 2.
My laptop is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and that was not enough to even start this game. Ram is shared with GPU so additional module or virtual memory is required to play. Adding 4 GB of virtual memory was enough to play ... solo :D
Game is extremely demanding. HD 720p resolution with 75% scaling was minimum to play. Lower scaling to 50% gave me 2-3fps more but picture was blur and was very uncomfortable to play.
On average 15fps is enough to move around but it was hard sometimes to klick on that monster to hit him and I end up running around him like a rookie. Maybe better CPU with more cores would help a bit but don't expect miracles.
My advice if you want to play melee class or anything where you have to aim to hit toggle to legacy mode and save yourself frustration.
Audio in other way is clear and sharp and because is remastered too is just a pleasure to listen to it.

Overall game is playable and if you outside of your home or just simply have no access to your PC or waiting for a new one you can play on your laptop. On top of that there is legacy mode that brings old original graphics and make this game playable on almost anything and brings back classic memories :D
