Did Atlus Make the Right Choice with This Persona 3 Reload Change?
Persona 3 Reload is just around the corner as it's slated for an early 2024 release date. Atlus recently annoyed some more hardcore gamers with the controversial decision to remove the Broken Social Link mechanic from this version of Persona 3. Something that brings this remake more in line with modern Persona titles like the beloved Persona 5. I personally feel like this is a good decision to streamline some of the series mechanics. It just makes for a smoother experience if someone did decide to marathon the franchise. However, if they do make a definitive version of Persona 3 Reload, Persona 3 FES anyone? I feel like it'd be best if they allow players to toggle Broken Social Links on or off, as it would allow gamers to tailor their experience.
