936The original concepts for the film were rejected. Robert Rodriguez wanted to have the Predators ride around on motorcycles and drink alien beer while watching matches in a Colosseum-like arena. There were even parts written for Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Glover to reprise their roles from the first two films. Dutch would’ve been kidnapped and forced to fight in the arena against some Predators and Predator creatures. This was first rejected due to budget constraints and the fact that Arnold was Governor of California at the time. Then, they moved to have soldiers dropped in an alien game reserve, but there were going to be 200 Predators. This was changed since a handful of humans would be no threat to 200 Predators. This was changed to three Predators, and Arnold was still offered a cameo that he turned down.
