876Michael Morbius was originally thought to be used as a villain in a potential sequel, but the company couldn't obtain the rights to the character since he's part of Spider-Man’s universe, which is owned by Sony. During the alternate ending of this film, the vampire that’s seen on the rooftop is Morbius. Also, in the film, Whistler can understand and read the ancient Vampire language. He even translates the piece of paper that Blade took. In the script for the film, this isn’t the case though, and Blade has to go to voodoo priestess to get a translation.
