The man behind the story makes a cameo! The Pursuit Of Happyness tells the true story of Chris Gardner, a man who finds himself homeless and jobless, having to live in shelters and on the streets with his son for some time before landing a job at a prestigious law firm. In the movie, Will Smith and his son Jaden play the roles of Chris and his son, and towards the end just before the credits, the two can be seen walking down the streets when a man in a suit passes them. The man is in fact the real Chris Gardner who was the inspiration for the story.
