Riddick can supposedly break out of any prison, and this is actually connected to the video game that came out around the same time. During the scene with Toombs where he starts naming prisons to potentially take Riddick, one of them is Butcher Bay. This is the prison that the video game is based in, and Riddick manages to escape from there in the campaign of the game. Also, Ridick asks Toombs what the price on his head is now, and after Toombs lies and says one million, he corrects himself and says 1.5 million. During the events of Dark Fury, five years before this, the bounty was at 1.1 million. So, in five years, the bounty went up 400,000.
