An RPG based on The Wizard of Oz... I had no idea that such a thing existed. Surely this won't be as bad as the SNES game... right?

At first glance, this sure does have the look of some classic RPGs like Dragon Quest and Shin Megami Tensei. As long as you discard your previous preconceptions based on the original L. Frank Baum story (as well as the 1939 film starring Judy Garland), there is something here to be enjoyed by RPG fans. Everyone loves a good-ole-fashioned power struggle, don't they?

In this continuation, Dorothy and "her gang" explore the Land of Autumn and encounter Holly, the Autumn witch, the one who started this whole mess by just happening to write a story about a hero named Dorothy and her companion, Toto. I wonder if she writes better stories than the one this game is currently presenting...
