DigiKnow - Stream Build
5Building a Budget Stream Machine is not that Expensive, here is a system that I built using all used parts for less than the cost of a console.
PARTS:
Mac Pro $125 (originally bought for $200 but came with a 20" cinema display and sold if for $75)
Dual Xeon 5365's $50
LG 24" Monitor $40
Mac Mic Mic $10
Harmon Kardon Speakers $15
Hauppage Capture Card $10 (such a steal)
Mac Pro Specs:
Quad Core Xeon 5365 x2
12GB ECC Ram
16x SuperDrive.
240gb boot Adata SSD
Dual 3 TB Western Digital Sata drives in Raid 0
1 TB Sata drive.
ATI Radeon X1900XT Graphics Card
