When I started this review series back in 2019, there was a lot I didn't think would happen. The first being how time consuming these reviews would be. The original plan was to make a review for all 6 seasons, but after how long the Season 3 review took I lost interest. However there was demand for a season 4 review, and I hate having unfinished business so here it is! One thing I'm annoyed that I left out was the fan theory that this is a prequel to Season 1. At the end of Season 1, there is talk of another group of Digidestined and we are given a vague outline of 5 kids and their digimon. The Digimon in question kind of match up with the beast Spirits, Burning Greymon, Kendo Garrurumon, Metal Kabutarimon, or Kor Ikakumon, with Zephermon being the odd one out. Given how different time in the digital world moves, it's possible that only a few years in the human world would equate to 1000 years in the Digital world. Leaving the Legendary spirits to become Agumon, Gabumon, Tentimon, Gomamon, and Buymon. I believe there is ground in the theory, but I don't know if it's cannon.
