"Alive." The opening for the PS2 game DDS2. It's a classic that I still like to see sometimes. Seemed like a good candidate for an upscale, since search didn't find anything upscaled.

This time I used Gigapixel standard for most of the video. It seemed to do a really decent job for the art style and 3D details. Did try out a new upscale method on a few spots. Notably the blackhole sun at the start, and the close up on Serph's eyes early on. StableSR is the name of it. My poor GTX 1080 needs to be replaced with a modern RTX when 16 GB cards come out... 10 minutes for a single frame is unacceptable! lol

Also used a few of the other rescaler models for a few spots that Gigapixel did a noticeably poor job. Valar, Laddier, Fatality Comix to name a few. That was using Stable Diffusion extras tab. Also, used Photoshop to lazily morph 2 sections that didn't flow well into each other. Should have fired up a video editor and faded over a longer period of time, but I think it's good enough...

And as usual, the 60 fps treatment. Used FILM, RIFE, and SVP auto; then used the best of each scene. Some parts stand out a bit, but I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. (Plus, pretty sure you can play the game in 60 FPS on an emu. Now, you can enjoy the movie in 60 fps too!)
