As requested by Kurt Hummel, here's an attempt of upscaling the original 200 or something meg 320x224 24 fps compressed PS1 cinematic where Lucia confronts Zophar to a 8 gig 2056x1440 60 fps video.

It actually took like a week to process on my old GPU... The only way to truly clean it up would be to take some of the processed images, and remake the scenes; requiring only a few images to be perfect, rather than the 11k - 30k frames it processed.

The process was something like this: First extract the video from the original PS1 disc (I couldn't extract the audio for some reason... ended up just downloading the audio from online).
Next convert to PNG, and begin testing various methods to upscale, and see which looks best. Ended up separating all the various scenes by hand and using various filters...
Such as:
For most close up images of anime characters -
1x_NoiseToner-Uniform-Detailed_100000_G
Then,
2X
4x-UltraMix_Balanced 0.503
4x_NMKD-Superscale-Artisoftject_210000_G
Then,
2X HQ Gigapixel
Auto
Gamma Correction

Or for Zophar closeup,
Topaz Gigapixel AI
Standard 4x
No auto
0, 42, 33
GC on

And many others that I'll list at the bottom if there is space.

Next, I recombined the parts and fixed any issues I noticed.
Then I used DaVinci Resolve's fusion ability to process the video's noise using: Auto Dirt Removal to Deflicker (flurolight) to Deflicker (flurolight), which took almost 2 days.

After that, I processed the whole video using FILM to create 60 fps from 24 FPS. However, the amount of RAM or free space was ridiculous (like 32 gigs for 1000 frames), so I broke it up and queued everything.
Next I reprocessed the 24 FPS again using RIFE, SVP and just frame doubling. (Had to use virtualdub to adjust the framerate for FILM and RIFE since it outputted 96 fps. Then I took the best looking results of each type per scene and recombined it.

Lastly I took the resulting 1280x896 60 fps video and processed it through Topaz Video Enhance AI to resize to 2056x1440 for youtube's sake. Pretty sure the original 1280x896 video would have been downscaled to 720p.

And whew... maybe I could have gotten 70% of the same result with just using Video Enhance AI and SVP in a hour or two lol. But, I wanted to see what I could do without remaking the video entirely...

In any case, I'm a Lunar fan, and gave it a shot after being requested! Enjoy!
