Discovery: Dropzone Arcade Prototype (1984)

Dropzone was originally created for the Atari 800 computer (which line of machines is known as "Atari 8-bit computers" due to their use of the 6502 processor) as a Defender clone, and was quite popular in PC gaming circles of the '80s. While it likely wouldn't have changed much in the industry had it been released, it would have still been a fine addition to have among the many other computer-to-coin-op ports that happened around that time. #atari #prototype #videogames
