This is my first attempt to make energy saving lamp using 2 x AA or 2 x AA batteries. I could have added more options like 1 x 18650 batteries or 9 volt PP3 battery.

It is powered up by Step Up voltage circuit using step up mini-transformer and KSH200 transistors to light up 220 volt 3 watt light bulb. The lowest battery level down to 0.8 volt which is considered dead battery still able to power up the bulb with decent brightness.
