The DJI Mic 3 is a highly-rated wireless microphone system with its compact size, excellent audio quality, and professional features like 32-bit float recording and timecode support. It is suitable for a wide range of creators, from YouTubers to those on large-scale productions. The system comes with a convenient charging case, magnetic clips, and offers impressive battery life.
Key new features include adaptive gain control modes (Automatic and Dynamic), three voice tone presets (Regular, Rich, and Bright), and two noise cancellation settings. It can connect with up to four transmitters per receiver and eight receivers in total, and offers a transmission range of up to 400 meters. The Mic 3 also features internal dual-file recording for backup and improved dynamic range, and seamless integration with DJI Osmo products via OsmoAudio. While generally lauded, a minor drawback is the absence of a LAV mic input, which was present in previous models. Despite this, the DJI Mic 3 is highly recommended for its ease of use and high-quality audio capture.
