DmC - glitching in Secret Ingredient (Mission 6)

Another boss level I tried to break. No speed strats, but some interesting sights at least...

I: an unreliable (but reproduceable) way of going out of bounds from the tunnel at the start of the level. Sightseeing around the place. Checking out the exit tunnel from OoB (it doesn't actually lead anywhere), and other places too. Also other ways I accidentally ended up OoB in the tunnel.

Interestingly, the timer in this level stops if you go too far out of bounds, and resumes when you return.

II: passive Succubus if you go to the boss arena early. You can hit her with attacks, but it doesn't seem to do anything. The lava pits below aren't active at this point.

III: a strange glitch I got on Heaven or Hell-mode against the boss. I hit her with the shotgun blast at a wrong time (just as the health bar appeared), making her glitch die. She became completely passive again, and additional attacks did nothing to her health bar. If Dante fell down and respawned, the boss fight continued like normal.

IV: escaping the boss fight early by jumping over the wall. Nothing much seems to be loaded at the lava fields, so you can't do much with this?

V: after the fight you can visit the secret mission and make the Succubus (or at least her bottom half) respawn at her usual place in the boss arena. She can't be fought again, though.

VI: gliding around during the last moments of the fight. Couldn't find a way to skip parts of this last scene yet. There was a high invisible wall in front of the remaining bridge so I jumped over it, figuring there'd be something there. But there was nothing, not even collision. You can also infinite jump on top of the boss and stand there.

Jumping into the lava at the same time you kill the boss does nothing too special.

VII: interestingly, when I messed around with the secret mission of this level and then played the mission through, I could sometimes get the weapon switching noises to play while in the level menu. Was the game still going on in some form behind the menu?

(Not on the vid: if you do the checkpoint retry glitch on the post-boss FMV and then activate it again while it is still showing, it... activates again. Not a very surprising result.)

(Not on the vid: if you try to get to the secret mission door during the last scene, it says "Secret Missions not available during combat." and refuses to let you through. However, the area around you loads differently, and the broken bridge looks like to be completely intact again.)

(Not on the vid: you can actually do attacks after hitting the lava during the last scene, sometimes looking a bit funny.)
