Doddie Weir has died
Doddie Weir, a Scottish rugby hero, died at the age of 52.
Weir has been battling Motor Neurone Disease since 2017 and has led initiatives to fund research for a cure alongside other athletes Rob Burrow and Stephen Darby.
In a statement, his wife Kathy announced his death, characterizing her late husband as a "inspirational force of nature."
