Should games be easier? Should they be harder? Whatever your answer may be, there's obviously a large range of opinions, but today I'll share my analysis of the 'modern' question, does Easy Mode and Assist Modes actually harm games? There's a lot that's overlooked in these discussions, so after some research here's my current thoughts.
