Dog's Life - Gameplay (6/7) 60fps patch | PCSX2 1.7.4005 AVX2 | Ryzen 7 5800H | RTX 3070 140W
Dog's Life is a most relaxing game. It's mostly devoid of challenge, but the emphasis on exploration kinda makes up for it.
It's got early 2000's voice acting, which is awful, but the dialogs are fun and its story, albeit simplistic, is charming.
Each level's sized just right, and contains a handful of mini games that get repetitive as the game goes on, but they're short and to the point. The controls however aren't so great, but the game barely if ever, requires precision, which is no excuse but its clunkiness, did not affect the fun factor much.
Nothing to extraordinary was required to run it properly, default settings will do it, but pushing the resolution above 5x, will glitch the dog's textures. Tried a 60fps cheat, and although I didn't notice any drops in the frame counter, the framepacing seems inconsistent at times.
