First time I've sat down and actually played a Super Smash Bros. game properly, so yes I know the techniques are shit lol. And yes I unlocked and picked Snake - I'm a huge Metal Gear fan, get over it. Honestly after trying it, I can see why people love playing it. I just have far too many games to want to try, and I'm just not the competitive type.

I won't go into details about how to set up controllers, I'm using an original Wiimote, but minus the sensor bar so I can't point the remote to select options that way.
