Since I used to wonder how many dominoes you had to lay down to get a certain poem at the Game Over screen when you lost your last life on the great arcade game Domino Man, I decided to do a little research. Along with the poetry screens I have used Windows Paint to draw on the amount of dominoes you need to lay during your game to achieve that particular poem. And it's all set to the full version of Maple Leaf Rag (twice), as performed by Dick Hyman (nice name!), adapted from the original by Scott Joplin in the late 19th century. I greatly prefer this version over the abridged one in the arcade game (but for 1982, what do you expect?), so I decided to use this instead; hope you're all okay with that. Anyway, I still decided to do my voiceover and read the poem out for you good folks, in case you have trouble reading the screen somewhat. There's a total of 25 different poems in the game (one of them is repeated with each needing different domino-laying criteria, for some reason) and the last poem is a glitch and is illegible. Just thought I'd try something different here, in case there were other people like me who were curious as to how many dominoes you needed to lay to achieve the various poems at your game over screen. Hope this video satisfies all the curious parties out there. :)
