This is my Donkey Kong Land 2 100% speedrun in 1:17:12, as timed from file select to collecting the final DK coin after the Lost World. This run was played on the Gambatte emulator.

This is a very meaningful category for me, it's the first game and category I ever did a "speedrun" of, before I really knew what it was. Back when I was nine I could do this in two hours flat game time, and it took me a little while learning the stages to overhaul that, but this run in game time is 1:11.

This run actually went surprisingly well, given it was a no-reset run! I didn't die at all or lose a bonus stage until world 5, and then it kind of all fell over at once in Dungeon Danger. But aside from Klobber Karnage failing to load the bonus barrel not once, but twice (!), I am happy enough with how this went.
