3With the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy going completely off the rails at this point, I sincerely hope that the phenomenal optional content of this original isn’t missable this time.
While many will point to the Wutai side quest, I’m more interested in fighting the emerald and ruby weapons. I can’t even imagine how an underwater boss battle would work in the remake's new style.
While they will definitely be there in some form, as some of the most epic fights in the game, I sincerely hope that they’ll be significant action set pieces and not locked behind exploration.
