wohooooooooooooo! the most original and challenging map of DV saga in my opinion. At first sight a few year ago, this map looked impossible to me. When I started to speedrun a bit btw, I got in touch with the dsda and by watching great doomers I learned a lot. This level was something which was best to face in a second moment basically. Exactly like you got to do in this map actually! You are chased from the very beginning by dozen and dozen of afreet (the flying barons) and you haven't much time or room to escape before they reach you... or their fireball do ;)
The map design is simply awesome like every other DV level, I really have to say a big thanks to Huy for such beautiful (even if damn hard..) wad.
I originally wanted to play all the maps of the second episode of the saga, but I couldn't reach a few secrets and a few simply looked too hard to beat for me.

This map is a run against time, through a large lava-hellish cave with hundreds traps in the way. You will face badasses jumps, archviles and mancubus guarding pillars you 've to jump on, all the time. Only at the very end, when the sight of 3 cyberdemons may let you lose hopes, you have actually the chance to kick everyone asses.
You must be pretty cautious in the end, because pushing barons far away just slows you a LOT, because your bfg hits less then, or that makes the barons unreachable sometimes. Im pretty happy about it went there actually. My aim was a sub 5 and half, and after scoring a 05:31, I kept running for improving the time more. This required several days, but was worth it.

From the initial attempts I sharpened the kills in the first half of the map, trying to save the armour as much as I could. Infact it was not rare to die after the second secret, or while climbing the final stairs for example. There are plenty of moments where this level can be deadly. oh no-wait; this map can be deadly ANYTIME, depending on the barons movement.
"waiting" in strategic corners to drag the hates reds away from the path is a must in a few moments btw, but I'll leave it for the interested in playing the map. The very end can also be tricky as you can still fall and ruin everything, and the 3 cyber can still blast you if you don't pay attention. I'd say a perfect time would be around the 5minutes, the older DSDA record was 05:50 by Anima Zero.
