Thanks to Rizera who dragged my attention on this new very interesting wad. smaller maps, less stress and something totally new. yea- rather what I needed to actually ENJOY playing doom right now. Ill definitely leave the last 3 maps of cc3 and map29 of cc1 for the future.
Anyway doom core is a 32level megawad!
This first map starts already with plenty of action&danger and lot of space for different strategies and routes imho. I fast changed 2-3 times some routes detail in order to get below 4mins and then below 3 and half minute, which was my first aim. Then I again sharpened the run a bit, using the rockets differently and trying to get the CGs to harm more the other enemies. All worked fine, beside the second rocket on the knight, almost wasted =/
Time is pretty decent I think, but improvable. There was no DSDA entry yet for uv-max category in this level
