19 year of Doom, Congratulations!

Every users, thank you for your comments! I start to play epic2 which was No.1 on the vote from on now. I thought famous wads, like Plutonia 2 or Scythe 2, would be lead from the others. The result that epic 2 was No.1 and Speed of Doom was No.2 was unexpected. I stopped checking Plutonia 2 and Scythe 2 on UV-Fast immediately, then I started to play them. Speed of Doom was very difficult as I expected, so I might not have selected it even if Sod had won first place in the vote. I want to try SOD after I polish my skill of UV-Fast enough. Anyway, I think asking user's opinions were good.

Epic 2 starts from Egyptian style maps. Some object graphics and some sounds were replaced from original Doom 2, but all maps works under vanilla doom. In spite of the look, the game style is pure "Doom". However, the graphics of doors or switches were its own particular graphics, so you might be confused at first. Also, you might be puzzled because the maps tend to be complex and have switches which are hard to find it. In map 1, there are not enough ammo, but it's not no problem on UV. You can get a berserk pack and save ammo by using a punch. On fast monsters, you would be bitten by a demon easily. I couldn't kill a demon safely by a fist even if I fought one to one. The trap of being closed in a small room and positions of demons becomes an upset easily on fast monsters.
