A short map, which should actually introduce the last 2 missing episodes of the wad. I wonder if Erik is actually planning on releasing those last 12 levels, I'd definitely look at those in that case. This level is pretty tough, because of a cyb, the annoying jump secret and the final area with the new green demons (I'd say "green elemental" unless they got an own name already). Everytime they shoot, they actually summon a spirit behind you, which uses fireballs to attack. They also fire very fast, which means using BFG or rockets there is needed. The first time I decided to replay this level, I thought anima made a mistake using the SSG only for the cyb, so I began killing the cyb very very fast with 1 BFG blast, which meant +20s advantage. This is still probably the fastest way, but the final area is so dangerous that I choose to save the bfg blast for clearing the massive horde forming within seconds before the exit. using the SSG like in my route, the rockets must be used efficiently and fast, to avoid the "GE" to spawn 2 much; afterwards I used the bfg to clear the green imps which starts to spawn only after you walk close enough (so waiting at the bluedoor like I originally wanted to frag everything fast with rockets doesn't pay time-wise.. because you only can kill some enemies, and more will appear once you move forward) and then get in the dead-exit line. This route can be cut down by 5-10seconds, according to my fastest attempts (reached bluedoor with 8s~ advantage) but the final area can be deadly very often. I assume using the BFG for the cyberdemon, and the relying only on rockets for the final area may end in something close to 2minutes tho. i will give a try now. DSDA record was 02:27 by Anima Zero.
Edit:
gave a try and the result came pretty soon; the first exit with new route was already a 02:04, so I aimed to a sub 2min. the dodging of the fireballs became more important, to keep the health high, but it's way faster. A few sec lost in the last area, but overall a fairly good demo I'd say. The GE moved stupid here, but the rockets were sufficient.
