DOOM 3 on Raspberry Pi 4 !! read description
242gpu its at 600 mhz and cpu its at 2000 mhz. it doesnt overheat because I have a decent (but cheap) 12v cooler (it runs at 45°-50° while gaming). temps arent a problem on rpi4, but the power issues are very problematic. rpi has a long history of bad power issues. In this case doesnt matter because the game doesnt use the 4 cores.
you could try a higher gpu clock speed, but Threadx os will fallback the freq to 500 mhz, so, check it after booting.
the game may run great on a handled low resolution display, or downgrading the graphics. Also, the mesa development will increase performance over time. there are many forks of these game, running on different backends, like vulkan , for example... so, on the future this game will run much better on rpi4.
the game also could run a bit better on an 64 bit os.

Ive tried it with opengl 3.0 ES but it doesnt support that profile, so you need sdl2 with opengl support (compile it with just configure)
Ive tried another fork of this same port than supports opengl 3.0 ES, but doesnt runs any better..and rather the opposite haha but maybe its because of the actual state of mesa v3d and not because of the api itself.
