Shows that the Automap in Doom 64 can be zoomed in/out and scrolled around. Zooming and scrolling can be done in all retail versions of the game, and the 2020 retail ports also allow limited movement of the player character in Automap mode without scrolling the map.

The example in this video is from the Steam/PC version.

Following is a list of Doom 64 versions and their default Automap controls.

Nintendo 64 Doom 64 default ('Default: 1') bindings:

Automap: 'Up' C button
Strafe left: L button (Left shoulder button)
Strafe right: R button (Right shoulder button)
Use: 'Right' C button

Map Zoom In: Hold Use with Strafe left
Map Zoom Out: Hold Use with Strafe right
To scroll view in Automap: Hold Use, move joystick

Steam/PC Doom 64 default bindings:

Automap: Tab / 'Back' button ('View' button on Xbox One controller)
Map Zoom In: R / D-Pad Up
Map Zoom Out: Q / D-Pad Down
Use: E / Gamepad A / Left Trigger

To scroll view in Automap: Hold Use, move mouse
Move player without scrolling map: Hold Use with Forward/Backward/Strafe Left/Strafe Right

Map Zoom In: D-Pad Up

Use: X button / L2 (Left Trigger)
