I take a look at one of DOOM's traps. To acquire the BFG weapon you must:
- acquire a key (a torso)
- but first clear the area of enemies because in the fiction of DOOM there is a security network that locks you in every room until the Demons are eradicated
- finally use the torso's retina to open the door to the BFG room
- The BFG room has a nice little 3 part trap to avoid
Yes its all very typical old school FPS mission design. But its Fun! Its a nice surprise to see DOOM have some excellent platforming sections and variation in gameplay with traps.
The BONUS is after you acquire the BFG you are presented with an excellent opportunity to use it!!
