DOOM - Multiplayer Open Beta (April 18, 2016)
2DOOM (2016) Developed by id Software, the studio that pioneered the first-person shooter, Hell Yeah! it was a Kick-Ass game!
I played DOOM (2016) for the first time yesterday, April 18, 2016 around 10pm; the last hour and a half of the Multiplayer Open Beta. I didn't feel like playing an online multiplayer game, but it was DOOM! So a went online to get my ass kicked over and over again!
Well the game is running at a very very fast paced! 1080p at 60fps & very smoothly, but i saddly recorded it at 30fps (elagto HD is still in the box). This is just a mix of my best moments, it's less boring then seeing deaths over and over again!
I never played Quake or Halo, but i did play Unreal Tournament 3 in 2007. Also, i played DOOM (1993) & DOOM III (2004); i never played Doom online: i was looking for creepy mood, claustrophobia, blood, gore & horror in a single player story mode; & that's what i got back then!
The Multiplayer was fun & very fast compare to RE5!
The only thing i can say about this multiplayer online is that i wish it had: 1- Dark areas (to add a sense of dread) 2- Monsters & spirits trying to kill you while you're battling other players. 3- Replace the voice of the guy who announce infos while we are playing online, by a deep scary voice or a voice done by a Death Metal dude (to add atmosphere) 4- Even more blood and gore (if possible).
5- It's a Big MISTAKE to slow down time (single player mode) while your looking in your inventory; biggest mistake of the game! It kills the flow & face pace of the game! It's your job to manage your ammo, guns & movements; if you make a mistake, your dead! Demons are there to rip you apart, not waiting for you! RE5 got that part right! Doom is not is not Fallout!
Even if it's an online mutiplayer, it's DOOM & it's should be HELL! & Only HELL! Maybe i'm asking to much! Anyway, i know you guys (developers) are working hard, Good Job! The single player mode will probably be amazingly Kick-Ass!
P.S.: I'm not good enough to make a great video gameplay, so it was a sentimental upload! Hell Yeah!
