Actual, real, DOOM running on Commodore 64 hardware (with a few expansions to processor and memory, mind). But otherwise this is an impressive feat on the early 1980s Commodore hardware. All is present, all is correct. To run it yourself, follow the instructions below;

SCPU WinVICE - http://supercpu.cbm8bit.com/download/WinVICE-2.4-x86+(scpu64).7z

C64 Doom - http://scpu.amidog.se/doku.php?id=scpu:doom

Unpack and put them in the same folder. Then create a shortcut to xscpu64.exe and modify it to read as below but with the relevant path.

C:\WinVICE\xscpu64.exe -reu -reusize 16384 +reuimagerw -reuimage doom.reu -autostartprgmode 1 -autostart io.prg

I suggest you put the emulator in Warp mode (ALT-W) for the best experience, and if you press P it switches between 4 colour and 16 colour FLI modes.

It does use the joystick for movement (port 2), and i have to set it to capture mouse events so I can open doors (mouse 1), this is only because I haven't sussed the keys yet.
