DOOM quickest switching technique - The Holo Swap
0I am finally ready to reveal my secret power in DOOM 2016: the Holo Swap. This quick switching technique is enabled by a subtle use of the hologram itself, one of DOOM's equipment pieces. As I show in my guide, the sequence of inputs hologram - swap cancels the recovery animations of weapons and mods, most noticeable in the case of explosive shot, stun bomb, lock-on (which can be a TBRL) and siege mode (DKSMS). This results in a overall faster quick swapping, so fast that it's not easy at all to fully control it.
This is mostly due to weapons' internal cooldowns, which can't be skipped even when you swap them.
The case of DKSMS is also of major importance for obvious reasons, and as I explain in the video a few different rules must be followed if you want to abuse it together with the holo swap technique (I know you want to).

When you holo swap the bfg you're technically using the hologram even if you don't actually summon it. As a consequence the unsummoned hologram fires the second bfg shot making it look like you fired two projectiles with a single tap.
