DOOM SnapMap HELLISH - Map 05 Ruins
2Ok, so I get to final map of HELLISH. Enjoy the video, I will begin.
"Design" - em, I don't know what to say. If map 04 was good, so this map much better. This ancient places, hupe rooms, all create with stones, BV's with stone texture and Hell probs. Very good. With dark caverns with green fire, looking really good.
I see that author create good UAC base in this map, good, but very empty, employers maybe all evacuate. Anyway, map done creat and I like it.
Only watch in the end, author use probs "stone" very carefully, I really feel like I in ancient place, ancient caverns. Much better then map 04. Good work, watstha.

So, my rate is 10/10. Really deserve that.
"Gameplay" - as you see - not to easy and it's good. You in ancient cavers, ancient place and demons don't want to see you here and alse, they will always attack you and fights not be boring - you will fight with strong demons.
I like this gameplay, but I find bug or mistake in logic - watch video and you will understand about what I talking.

Ok, my rate is 8/10. Need to fix this and maybe it's be better.
"Atmosphere" - like I sad in "Desing" and "Gameplay" - you alone marine in ancient cavers, caves or ruins. It's dark. You see that this place very old, and wait for you many of demons - you get too far. In time it will be more strong demons - they want only to kill everyone how get to this place and you are no exception.
Dark places and stands with green fires, this anciets stones. We see UAC base here, but employers maybe was escaped or ... you will see what.
We see that it's intermediate UAC base in this caverns, another base forward.
So, my rate is 9/10. Some thing needed, so it's 9, but it's very good atmosphere. Spawn of demons to hit this rate.
Avarage rate - 9/10. If you want to see how may look caverns in Doom 3 - play this one, if you want to explore map for secrets and see good gameplay and design in caverns - play it.
