https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/themes/mm/mm2 With sequels, I find that Doom wads can break their legacy if they don't hold a strict attention to what made their original wad so memorable, Hell Revealed and Hell Revealed II and Whitemare and Whitemare 2 are examples of wads that broke the mold and ended up not being as good as one another, Though Memento Mori managed to avoid this issue.

Honored as the 2nd wad for 1996 in the top 100 doom wads of all time and released by the Memento Mori Team on July 27th 1996, Memento Mori II picks up where Doom II left off:It's been two years since the events of Doom II, and one year after the events of Memento Mori, Doomguy is overseeing the rebuilding of earth when he's told that a portal has opened to hell on Jupitar's moon lo, Now it's time to return to "A Death's Head" as translated from Spanish to confront this threat.

Like Memento Mori before it, Memento Mori II's mapping is the centerfold of the megawad, It's new textures and style give it a edge over the original Memento Mori, I didn't used the Music file as I prefer the original doom 2 music, not to hold anything against the composers of this megawad Mark Klem, and David Shaw who also worked on music for Icarus Alien Vanguard. Unlike the first wad, Memento Mori II's maps are by default more hellish in nature and more sinister, Ammo placement in the maps could be better but I liked this one more then the first wad.
